UNDERLINE & OVERLINE

WHEN I SIMPLY `CHANGE CASE' OF TEXT ACROSS A DRAWING USING MODIFY TEXT, FOR SOME REASON  ALL CONVERTED TEXT APPEARS IN A FORMAT WITH BOTH UNDERLINE & OVERLINE ON EACH WORD OR NUMBER. IS THERE A WAY OF DISABLING THIS FUNCTION OR A WAY OF PERFORMING A SWEEPING CHANGE WHICH ADJUSTS THE FORMAT SO BOTH THE OVERLINE & UNDERLINE DISAPPEARS ?

THANKS

Is the MODIFY TEXT a lisp or net routine? Or is it standard AutoCAD?

It sounds like it is a lisp routine that adds the underline %%U or overline %%O to the text.

is this a problem in ALL files, or just this one? Or just this one MTEXT object?

Your AutoCAD version is what?
Your Windows version is what?

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Can you share your file and the lisp routine you are using to modify the MTEXT?
