Normal Layer Freeze or Off Through Viewport

Say I'm currently in Layout space and I want to turn off a specific layer, however I do not want this to be a viewport freeze.

I would have to switch to model space and freeze/turn off the layer or do so via the layer manager.

Idea to incorporate a shift-freeze/off where I can complete a normal freeze/off but do so without having to change space or look up the layer (ie. do so through the viewport without the action being a viewport freeze).

I believe this would be a more efficient use of time, particularly on larger drawings.

Hi @liam.mulcahy you can freeze a layer in the whole drawing while in a viewport. When you select the freeze button on the ribbon you have options on the command line. Choose S for settings then select V for viewports the choose F for freeze instead of the other option vpfreeze then select objects in drawing to freeze and their layers will be normal freeze instead of a viewport freeze.

That'll work just fine.

Thanks!
