Autocad 2000 from Civil 3d

Hi All, I'm having a couple issues I hope can be cleared up quickly.  First off, when I recieve converted autocad files (converted to 2000) I notice that the marker display (which indicates Northing / Easting) does not match the actual point coordinates N & E.  The are exactly reversed...????

Also, It seems like several objects are in block form but when I explode them it doesn't do anything.  Are there settings that I need to relay to the people converitng the file for me so it's converted exactly into a full workable autocad 2000 file?

Just to be clear, I'm the one using autocad 2000 and most of the files converted are obviously newer- 15, 16 ,17...

Thank you!

Hi,

Sorry to say, but current Civil 3D versions can't downgrade all types of Civil-objects to make them compatible with software from the previous century.

Blocks are sometimes not explodable, that can happen when they include proxy objects, when the X-/Y- and Z-scalefactors are different, when they are located on a locked layer and for some other reasons.

I guess you need to upgrade, you can't work in a team with current software as long as you are using AutoCAD 2000.
