Layout colors don't update in one drawing

Having an issue with my layout colors I am using AutoCAD 2015

My layout color preferences show correctly in most documents, like this:

In One of my drawings, this is what the layouts look like with the same options settings.

.... but it has no effect on the plot ...

Plotting is fine, changing those options doesn't do it, since it is only an issue on a single drawing.

Its not an issue at all, it is simply cosmetic on-screen, I turn it all off.

Check, sheet size in the page setup, make sure its set current for the layout tab and

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

If this is truly happening with only one drawing, is it possible to attach it to a post so I can examine the issue?

OK, I purged essentially everything out of the file, since I wouldn't want to distribute the architect's work without their permission, I also hoped that doing that and then auditing might have resolved the issue.

Note in the file that the paper background is CYAN, but that only seems to affect the paper shadow and those horizontal lines (which do not appear to be objects)

Hopefully this file will show that the issue is isolated to the paper background element in the sheet/layout context,

Hi @Anonymous,

I too see the same thing as Alfred does.  If this is only happening with one drawing I suggest perhaps moving all the drawing elements to a new file.

I was able to purge objects out of this file and it also had many REGAPPS when I used -Purge>Regapps. Perhaps that is part of your issue.

Just when I was ready to assume it was the file... mine looks like this. the paper border and those lines that extend to the sides are the only things that change when changing the color of the paper background

Hi @Anonymous,

I wonder if this is display card related. Can you tell me the exact version of AutoCAD (hotfixes and service packs applied) as well as your operating system and graphics card make and model?

Hi @Anonymous,

This helps. Please tell me which version of Windows you use.

Then in the device manager control panel (in Windows) fin the graphics card and tell me the make and model.

Hi @Anonymous,

Please go here to see if there is a more current driver for your card.

Please also open GRAPHICSCONFIG in AutoCAD and send me a screen capture of the window that opens.

An update,

As I was working on this drawing, I noticed another display issue Note the different displays of the same block.

Just popping this up there to see if it triggers anyones memory about perhaps how fills are displayed/plotted

This is the case for all of my blocks that have filled regions

Hi @Anonymous,

Try setting FILLMODE=1 and let me know if this corrects the issue.

MY HERO,

That was it!!!!!

Tried to see if I could click kudo more than once for this one. My eyes (and drawings) are saved!

Thanks for sticking with me on this!

(in case anyone reads this in the future, entered the command in paper space, and the main background updated as soon as I zoomed, to get it to fix my blocks in paper space I had to REGENALL, and that did it)
