HP T2500PS and Autocad rel 13 and 14

Is there a driver update from Autocad that will allow a user to plot directly to an HP T2500PS plotter from R13 or 14.  Currently we have to save it as a pdf  and then plot it.

Autodesk does not write plotter drivers, what problems do you have?

>> from R13 or 14

I guess you mean 2013 and 2014?

Actually no.I mean R13 from 1994 and R14 from 1997. We upgraded our
plotters from the HP 1055CM + to the T2500PS emfp.

Wow, and your operating system is?

Wasn't Windows 3 and Windows NT the last supported operating system for these releases? I guess you won't get any drivers today for such old operating systems.

Please describe your exact environment and also please let us know which problems you have.

If HP cannot help you, no one can.

Start testing with your old HP1055 drivers and some of the built in old HP drivers available to you in plottermanager command.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Does HP provide a driver for your operating system? That is likely the starting point.

You might be able to print to this networked device in AutoCAD using AutoSpool.

PDF though is probably the best method for such an old system.
