Custom AutoCAD Workspace

I have created a custom workspace by setting everything up the way I want and clicking, "Save current as..." on the workspace dropdown at the top left of the screen. It saves, and life is great!

I would like to be able to make changes on the fly for unique situations and reset to the settings I saved, but it appears that any changes I make to the interface while my custom workspace is active are automatically saved to the settings for that workspace. Am I doing it wrong?

You should have more than one custom workspace if this is a constant need, reverting back to the 'default" deliberately when you are ready to do so.

Hi @Anonymous,

Are you looking for the WSAUTOSAVE system variable? If set to 1, changes to your workspace are saved automatically.

That is exactly it. I want it to not autosave, so I changed the WAUTOSAVE
variable to 0.
