mtext editor opacity

What is the variable to change the opacity of the background of the mtext editor?

My other CAD is a Cadillac and I like to Revit to the Max!

Hi @dtiemeyer,

I am not sure that there is a variable for this. One can turn off the background under the MTEXT Options but are you trying to do something else?

Hi,

I am afraid there is no particular variable to control the transparency of MTEXT Editor.

You can set the transparency for some toolbars by right clicking and changing the transparency.

Or as John suggested you will be able to change the background of the text window to opaque from the editor settings.

it appears the only way to cause the mtext background to be truly opaque is to turn off hardware acceleration. Could you confirm that please?

Yep, I can confirm that Hardware Acceleration causes opaque to not be opaque in the MText editor.

I tested it on my end but I want to make sure that I'm seeing the same thing as you.

Could you provide screenshots? I would like to make sure I understand fully what you're trying to do.
