In most jurisdictions you cannot. In theory you can do so in Europe with a European-licensed product, but it would need to be one that wasn't already upgraded. And it may not even run on a recent computer (but you may get lucky).
In short, buyer beware. I'd recommend skipping the potential headaches and get the most recent one from a local reseller.
