i have drawn in all my lines such as insulation , dpc , breather membrane and other lines with patterns.
however when i take them over to paper space they suddenly turn absolutely massive.
does anyone know whats wrong as this is due on monday and im bricking it a little

There is lot of reason for it.
(vport size , annotation scale ,paper size,...)

I've actually managed to partly solve the issue by changin PSLTSCALE from 1 to 0.
HOWEVER!
I now have to go through every drawing and redraw all the insulation lines as that's the only way it will work.
is there a short cut for this? or has it just got to be done?

How are the lines drawn? Are they a specific linetype? Are all the properties set to bylayer?
You could use the Action Recorder to create a macro perhaps that would change them to a different linetype.
