Hello John,
The two programs are on two different machines. I was told that we could run both on one machine but that is not the case unless they are running on different versions of Autocad. This causes me to have two machines running each program separately.
The drawing I was working in had no 3D objects in it initially but it still had the problem. I started on one machine and then switch to working on it on the other for fabrication purposes. I can work on the same file on both computers but one is not recognizing the text. I am not sure what you mean by copying the font from the working machine to the one that doesn't. Do you mean copying the .shx file?
Let's call my file File A. I can open File A on both computers but only one of them shows the correct text. When I open File A on the other computer that doesn't show the font, it makes all the files, opened already and after, not show the proper font. If I have a file open on the machine that doesn't show the proper text from File A, the text shows fine, architxt, UNTIL I open File A. Once I open File A, it converts all the achitxt textstyles on that machine to simplex. If I create a new drawing or open a file, it all goes to simplex textstyle.
I believe it's the file that is causing the issue but how do I fix that file? Recover does nothing and audit doesn't do anything. Are there any other ways to fix the file?
