PLOT MONOCHROME FROM MODEL SPACE
Is there a way to plot "DWG to PDF" monochrome from model space? I can use the page set up manager for model space, and set the plot style to monochrome, but it still plots the color. The colors are not custom and are a part of the 256 palette. If I choose my plotter for output, it plots in monochrome, but not while using dwg to pdf.

hi
if you inserted some colorful image to your dwg it will be the same as you said
but if all of your objects in dwg are AutoCAD's objects it must be down by the way which you are doing (see your plot style table and cheak all pen must be set to 7 )
or you can set new plot style and set the pens color to 7 and plot it
or you can convert your colorful pdf to monochrome by Photoshop and so many software

Hi,
>> Is there a way to plot "DWG to PDF" monochrome from model space?
Three reasons why AutoCAD might ignore the CTB
- the checkbox in the plot-dialog for "use plot-style is not activated
- the object colors (or layer colors) are not based on color-index, instead they are set to true-color values
- a visual style is set that is not "2D-Wireframe" (or shade-plot <> a "legacy ..." setting)
