DESING CENTER and Copy/Paste Elements

Hello,

I use to work with DESING CENTER to update my blocks in differents DWG.

After doing this, when I try to COPY/PASTE any elment between two differents DWG, Autocad takes a long, long  time to COPY the original elements.

Dos anyone have the same problem?

Thanks

Ok, Thank you

I normally can copy elements from a DWG to another, and I have no problems of memory, but that particularly happens after I open the Desing Center and update any block so I can imagine that Desing Center have any problem managing the memory.

Thanks

Hello, I've my own solution and apparently that works:

_Open the Design center window

_Select your DWG

_Click on the blocks tab

_Do your operations, like Redefine a block.

_When you finish, click on another tab of the DWG, like dimstyle for example.

Apparently, if you less the Desing center on the blocks tab, Autocad needs a lot of memory to run.

Thank you.
