Converting Imperial Scale to Metric Scale 1:30

How do I convert to imperial to metric scale? I worked on an imperial scale CAD file and would like to convert it to a metric file with the scale of 1:30.

Hi,

you can convert from inch to mm by scaling all objects by 25.4, also you have to prepare your Units and measurement to work with Metric system.you can found more to read in this >> Link << .

Good Luck..

Hi,

Regarding your needed scale 1:30,you can do it from layout view port and after you're inside VP go down (see attached)  to select your scale.from Custom you can add any scale doesn't exist.

If you use inches in your drawing simply scale with a factor of 25.4 (25 is accepted sometimes as it gives you rounded up numbers).

use UNITS command and change Inches to mm (unitless will do the same)

use SCALELISTEDIT and click RESET, choose METRIC SCALES, if 1:30 is not in the list click ADD.

That should help you through it.
