Not enough information, and I'm not sure this is an AutoCAD fix either. Is your I.T. working on a solution too?

What printer did you install?
What is your server network?
What is your PC's OS?
Your AutoCAD version?
How is your PC connected to the printer?
Does the printer have a unique IP address?
Are you trying to print to the network/system driver, or a PC3 file?
Did you remember to remove all traces of the old/removed printer from AutoCAD's search path? And your Windows printer options?

And what happens if you install that printer driver on your PC and plot to it? As a test of course.
