Scale in Model and Paper View SOS

Hi AutoCAD community!

Apologies if this has already been posted. I found some similar topics, but since I work in metric units they were not clear to me.

I need some drawings for an assignment. My units are decimal in millimeters, the units are all set to millimeters. Everything is fine with my floor plan. I draw in 1:1 and I am about to plot and my Model and Paper units are all messed up. I am desperate, I don't know what to do. This is the first time I encounter similar issue. When I go to Model and select 1:50 AutoCAD zooms in up until the point where my floor plan is so big that I cannot see anything. I attached some screenshots as well. Under Paper and Model my scale is (when it fits) 0.000574 ???

I am newbie and I hope that the more experienced users will have some suggestions.

Thanks a lot for your time guys,

Regards,

Veronika

the issue in your situation is your paper size.. your paper size cant accommodate your drawing at 1:50 scale.
things you can do, either or your change your paper size or you change your scale preference.

What size is your viewport in paperspace? It should measure about 800x500 for printing on an A1 sheet, depending on your border. In the viewport, if you initiate the zoom command and type 1/50xp, does the view scale correctly then? Sometimes the preset view scales in the drop down box get a bit confused. For example, I have a drawing in metres that is at 1:100, but the drop down box says it is 10 (0.1xp)
