AEC Wall disapears in xref inside a block - only fix so far is exploding it

We have a file I am working on with another colleague, and whenever she uses the file, the AEC walls disappear in an xreffed file which is also inside a block. We both have the same autocad. The only fix I've found so far is to explode the block every time one of us reopens the file which fixes the AEC walls throughout all the blocks. I'm looking for a permanent solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

>> AEC walls disappear in an xreffed file

What product are you working with?
AutoCAD does not know anything about "AEC walls", but this forum here is the one about (Vanilla) AutoCAD.

So the question is:

Was the drawing created with another vertical produkt like AutoCAD Architecture or MEP and you now have issues when opening these drawings with plain AutoCAD?
Or are you working with AutoCAD Architecture and so the question would better be placed >>>here (ACA)<<< or >>>there (MEP)<<<?

AutoCAD 2011 and 2010 require the ARCH Object Enabler to be installed for you to see content from the ARCHITECTURE versions of AutoCAD:
