You said Mil. so I thought military. Then you said AR15, which is a weapon type, so I thought you definitely meant military. So I was going to mention the US FDD Article 232.22 of weapon regulations, and mention that free official military grade cad models are illegal as of 2014. Went illegal when people started 3D printing guns. My private contractor informed us last year.

Given that this example covers several thousand items, from adhesives to zirconium, I don't think this is specific enough for anybody to be able to answer you.

Not looking for the holy grail. Just a reasonable area to find things like connectors, etc. Someone doing DOD work should know what I am looking for.

Hi,
>> Someone doing DOD
They will, but maybe they are not distributing such information as it's called ".... of Defense".

It is not secret info. It is basically commercial parts that get a mil specification. It can be purchased by several companies as long as it meets requirements. It would be so much easier if I can find via the actual spec number that would be within a libtrary. I agree...it would be a big library...but that goes for commercial as well. I'd be fine with a bare bones one with hardware and common items. Sent via the Samsung GALAXY S®4, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
