Have Text from Dimensions be larger by default

Currently, as I used the dimension tool to help display line measurements, I need to zoom really far into the line in order for the text to be visible. Instead of manually changing the text size in properties, how can I default the text size to be large. Or, is there a command that I can do once all of them are finished to increase them all at the same time?

There are several ways to handle the dimension text.

One simple method is to set your dimstyle up correctly before drawing your dimensions and then all your dimensions will come in correctly.

DDIM Click the style you want to update, then click on the text section find the spot for text height and set it.

Then place your dimensions. This does not matter on scale. It assumes you want the text to be that size no matter what. If you want to get into scaled drawings and or paper space then you will need to dig a bit more on dimensions.

If you already have all your dimensions placed an you want them all to be fixed. You can again use DDIM set your text height. Then use the dim command

When you are in the dim command then type in UPDATE and the ALL and enter to complete the selection and it will update all dimensions to match the current settings.

There is a lot more to dimensions and settings though. This will give you a little bit to get started.

Good luck
