Fit a Picture Attachment to a 3D Surface

Greetings,

Can someone please help me fit this picture into the screen of this iPhone object? So far I can only resize with fixed ratio, but I can't stretch or fit into the proportions of the phone screen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @masterenol,

Can you attach the JPG so that I might take a look?

Hi @masterenol,

I created a new Material Library using the Material Browser. I then created a new generic material, selected your image and set the width to 2.3 and the height to 3.8

Next I selected the phone face, rt-clicked the new material in the Material browser and Assigned to Selection.

Hello,

On a very similar topic, I am trying to add this material to a cylinder surface:

But I end up with a surface that looks like this:

AutoCADcylinder.PNG

I want the material to face in an orientation so that both cylinders have the text facing the same way.

Can you please help me with this? I've experimented with different offsets and rotations, but I don't get the results I want.
