Lineweight/Thickness AutoCAD2017

Line thickness doesn't change. I've already specified the line weight but the drawn lines are still default lines. I change the line thickness but still the drawn lines are default line. I can't change line weight or thickness no matter what I do.

I'm using windows 10, 64-bit.

Hi,

>> I've already specified the line weight

In the video I can't see if you have activeted LWDISPLAY (to present line-weights on screen)

>> I change the line thickness

Line-thickness is a setting for 3D ... so the object gets something like a height. You can't see that as long as you look to the drawing from top.

The issue at the beginning of your video when you need to change the layers color to see the change to the lineweight looks like a graphic card issue.

Am I correct that your graphic card is an Intel HD....?

Use the LWEIGHT command and check the box "Display Lineweights".

See screen grab attache below.

EDIT: sorry @Alfred.NESWADBA already covered this.

Hi,

>> Yes, my graphic card is an intel HD4400.

Well, that is not a graphic card that should be used when working with CAD software.

You can try different driver versions for the Intel GC, but it's always like a miracle if one driver works or not.

DId the other answers help you with the line-weight question?
