AutoCAD no longer have the Classic workspace out of the box. Typically, you will see users who migrate their settings from a previous version to 2017 who still have the Classic workspace. <-- I do not recommend migrating settings from previous versions.
To get the classic look and feel, perform the following:
- Turn on the menu bar by typing MENUBAR and set the value to 1
- From the Tools dropdown, choose Toolbars > AutoCAD, then select the toolbars you want...
- Disable the Ribbon, by typing RIBBONCLOSE.
- Once everything is displayed and organized the way you want, go to the Workspace flyout and choose Save Current As... Then give is a name...
