Convert regions and surfaces to a single 3D solid

Can someone please help me convert this into a single 3d solid? The file was originally an SLDPRT file.

I've tried JOIN and UNION, but it does not do the job I need.

Hello masterenol,

In my case, combination of three following commands in presented order seems to have provided a solution:

- CONVTOSURFACE

- UNION

- CONVTOSOLID

Kind Regards,
Pawel

Thanks for the reply.

I tried CONVTOSURFACE but I get "objects cannot be converted."

This is interesting, in my case this worked fine, I'm not really sure why it wasn't similar in your case.

I'm attaching the output file for You.

Kind Regards,
Pawel

Cool! Thank you so much!

For some reason, my AutoCAD is now able to convert the original file to a full single 3D solid. The video was very helpful!

This may or may not be  a simple question but here goes:

I need to join the two attached parts in a 45degree corner.

Can I extend my extrusions to meet each other at a plane midway between them at 45 degrees?

Hi Pawel,

May I ask what recording software you are using to make your videos?  It would be great to be able to create some tutorials.

Hows life in Poland right now (assuming you are there)? I am coming to visit with my family in another month and a half...

Cheers,

Andy
