Importing an Image

AutoCAD sucks.... I mean, when I try to import an image into the model space it becomes a distorted grid. 

 

I spent weeks importing images into the model space with no problems. They are usually JPEGs. Now all of a sudden I cant import any image. They import but become a distorted grid. 

 

Anyone know why AutoCAD decided to start doing this to me?

Post your snapshots or a screen cast and let everyone decide.

method of importing?

Either "Insert---->Attach---->Open File" or just drag and drop.

I've been doing both of these for a couple months since starting work in
AutoCAD, then all of a sudden it stopped working.

Below is the picture of what the image looks like after importing

I just uninstalled and reinstalled... it works again...
