Hi,

From post 1

>> I support about 100 users on acad 2015 and civil3d, and I get a call one a week

>> asking how to get their pulldowns and toolbars "back".

From post 5

>> I've been watching this for years now, through multiple acad versions

50% if your users have this issue every year? I have seen that maybe once a year (all our customers together).

And as that is not discussed that often here in the forums I would now check what is different to your users compared to all the others. So what is it which makes your installations different to the rest of the world, e.g. do all your users use an enterprise customization file, are CUIX stored on the network, permissions limited, ... I would look to that "same for my customers, different to most others".

To reset the workspace you can try to start CUI, then right-click the main-cuix the main menu ==> restore xxxx like shown here:

What happens very often is that users are using the option of "Automatically save workspace changes" ==> that is imho a very critical setting, because when AutoCAD crashes (I have heard that this could happen :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa: )) the workspace could be damaged too, and so the next start has defects in the workspace.

My customers never do activate the automatically saving!

>> Toolbar locations come from the registry,

If you see the registry as the culprit, then create backups from that part of the registry and when your customers have this issue just restore that.
