Broken lines not showing as broken in model space
Hi all
Using Autocad 2017 and recently my broken line types are not showing as broken in either model or paper space.
It was working in the past as I have previous prints where they are showing as broken. I have opened those old files and the line are no longer broken in model or paper space.
As an example I have drawn a centre line and changed the linetype scale from 10 to 1 but it still remains solid. All my broken lines like hidden and dashed all appear as solid line.
Any ideas. Many thanks in advance.

Hi and Welcome to AutoDesk Forum,
If we solve it in MODEL space automatically it will be fine in LAYOUT (System Variable needed),and to solve it it will be highly appreciated if you post the CAD file here to look at.
Waiting..

LTSCALE
PSLTSCALE
MSLTSCALE
CELTSCALE
and also select these objects, start PROPERTIES command, and tell us what their LINETYPE SCALE category on that palette reads.

Hi all
Thanks for looking at solutions to this issue. I have been studying and working full time so didn't get around to a prompt reply.
I'm 90% sure it is a laptop setting as opposed to a CAD setting as some other quirky stuff has been happening since a week weeks back. I have a theory that my cat has walked over the keyboard and changed something.
My broken line (centre, hidden and such) are printing out as broken even though not showing like that in print preview. Broken line have also changed back to broken in model and paper space without me adjusting anything.
Not sure how or why but too busy to worry about it at the moment.
Thanks again for the support. Hope to pay it forward in the future as I learn more about CAD.
