2016 Plotting legacy hidden with line weights overriding final image

I have modeled a simple concrete slab in modelspace with a masonry wall sitting directly on top of the slab.

When printing a vport as legacy hidden in paperspace the slab outline prints heavy as required (slab = 0.5 lineweight) & the wall prints light as required (wall = 0.18 lineweight). My issue is when the wall outline is directly over the slab outline, the wall lineweight overrides the thicker slab lineweight below, hence the final output prints a light line. Is there a way to have the slab's thicker line override the wall above using a single vport?

I can print the vport 'as-displayed' & achieve the correct printed lineweights however there are slab thickenings that will appear as solid lines if printed 'as-displayed' & this is not required.

(Attached image shows a plan of a wall over the left side of a slab)

HI @mark.sim,

I agree with @imadHabash that Draworder is probably what you are looking for.

I do wonder though about your slab thickenings not appearing correctly. Are they indicated with a different linetype that is not displaying properly in your viewport?
