PROBLEM TO DISPLAY HEBREW FONTS

When I'm opening some plans I can't read hebrew at all: I just can see the equivalent letters in english and with mirror effect.

I do have hebrews fonts in Fonts folder.

Thanks!

Hi VONUFE,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your font. Can you attach one or two of the SXH or TTF files as well as a sample drawing? I would be happy to take a look and see if I can find a solution for you.

OTF or TTF fonts? AutoCAD can do nothing with OTF fonts.

TTF fonts need to be installed in Windows, otherwise they would display: are you also getting an error message about missing fonts when you open these files?
Here is how you install TTF fonts in AUtoCAD https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Typography/TrueTypeInstall.aspx

HI @Anonymous,

I opened your drawing and typed ST for Style. This opens the Text Style window.

In all the Styles you have defined, I don't see the fonts you sent me.

The fonts that the drawing is looking for are:

CAES-L$.shx

Techno_M.shx

Hebtxt.shx

MIryl.shx

Oron.shx

Sivan_M.shx

HEB.txt

Techno.shx

Do you have all of these fonts on your system? If so, and you still have the problem, please attach those to the thread so I can try to duplicate the problem on my side.

I have the same problem, tried some methods you mentioned in the forum but couldn't solve it. It shows "???" although all the fonts are in the system.

I'm attaching my file, thanks for any help!

Did you actually read the post that you are replying to my friend? They are missing fonts, your file is missing fonts too, in your case ORON-1.SHX and TECHNO.SHX.

They are missing on your computer I guess... I think I have them in the correct folder, because they appear as if they are installed in the Autocad interface:

Hi,

>> I have the same issue.

The process was to start command _STYLE, inside this dialog look for which fonts are missing and install these fonts.

What did you try from these steps?

>>>... but they do not show in the DWG...<<<
What does that mean please? Or do you just need to turn on/thaw all layers the zoom/pan around to find them?
