Sheet Set Drawing Archive

I have searched the forum for this question but come up empty handed. I want to be able to update a drawing(sheet) and have the sheet set manager archive the old revision of the drawing in an archived folder. I only want to archive a single drawing when it has been updated. Is this possible?

Well the thing is that sheet sets are designed to not allow duplicate files. In fact, when you insert your drawings/layouts into a sheetset it indicates whether or not it is already part of a sheet set. think of it as a stapled set of paper prints where no duplicates are commonly included

Do you guys work all changes on the model or do you call in an xref with changes made?

My suggestion is to make a copy of the SSM (sheet set manager) and use renames.

Verify the file folder structure you are working with...try to organize projects by phases. This will help you maintain better the revisions.

Ex: Project Name

      -Predesing

      -Design

      -Final

Let me know ...i will be glad to help
