I looked at Layer Manager and see the columns (tabs) starting with VP.

What do you mean by "change" all tabs starting with VP?

What do I change?  And how?

 

I have about 5 layouts, each with a viewport.

I created separte Layer States for each viewport.

How to work with them is extremely puzzling.

It seems that in the Model tab I have to have all layers ON.

But I am constantly getting unpredictable results.

 

In Layer States, what is the significance of the column for "Space".  some are in Model space and some in Layout.   What effect does that have?  And how does a Layer State get into Model or Layout space?

 

And what is the significance of "Same as DWG" column?
