DWG to PDF issues

When i use autoCAD's DWG-PDF, the final PDF which automatically opens is showing the circles within blocks (used to create the arc) which are on a frozen layer. For example circles on cooker hobs, wheelchair turning circles, rounded off edges (ghost circles) etc..

Can anyone shed some light on why this is? I am having to ask other colleague's in the office to do my PDF'ing.

Thanks,

Trev

Hi tremedesign,

and welcome to our community Emoticono feliz

Well, I cannot recreate what you are describing here. Maybe I misunderstood. Can you please provide the dwg file? And maybe some screenshots of your plot configuration? If it is too complicated for you to make the screenshot - a video will do it, to. You can use screencast for this task.

Thanks

AutoCAD's DWG to PDF ePLOT

Hi,

I (re-)asked to upload the drawing which was used to create this PDF as we need to see what object types these arcs/circles are).

>> DWG to PDF ePLOT

If that is the printer you used then please let us know the exact name, "DWG to PDF ePlot.pc3" does not exist by default ... or upload that PC3-file too.

Hi tremedesign,

Which version of AutoCAD are using to create the plots?  Does the problem still exist if you log on as a new User with administrator permissions? How about if you Reset settings to Default?

Have you tried the AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation) PC3 file? Does it do the same thing?

Please hit the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

AutoCAD 2017

Yes the problem still exists with admin permissions

Problem still occurs even after resetting to defaults

PC3 file is what i use to plot if you had read the previous messages.

Hi,

as long as we don't have the drawing, so we can try it on our workstations and compare the results, ... all is nothing else than guessing.

And there could be so many settings that this guessing might use weeks (hard to follow a thread with multiple suggestions to look about which additional idea might also be tried).

Why don't you show the drawing (at least just the critical elements (as long as you can reproduce the issue)) ... that could then be a 1 minute solution (in best case).

Issue solved. A simple un-install/re-install solution.

Can you please refrain from commenting on this post as i am getting slightly annoyed at these email notifications.

Thanks,
