Align and Orient Text in AutoCAD

I was wondering if there was a way to click text from anywhere and have it align with the line you want it to?

Does the TORIENT Express Tool do what you want?  If not, there are routines out there -- Search these Forums, and you may well find something, or there are other places, such as this.

Hi tim8903,

Does the Textalign tool do what you want?

If not, can you explain in more detail what you want this feature to do?

It helps and I appreciate the reply. The actual command is torient. It automatically snaps to the exact line I was looking for and angle. Thanks for your support.
