ERASING MULTIPLE BLOCKS

I've been working on a job where I need to show multiple copies of a block.

In this case I'm showing multiple sets of parking spaces for a parking lot.

Well as I decide to make changes and remove some of the blocks so that I can rearrange the lot I'm having trouble picking multiple blocks to delete.

What's happening is that when I'm zoomed in close enough to be able to safely do a crossing to select items, if I also pan while in the middle of the process it will only delete the blocks that are visible on my screen.

Dropping the ones that I had selected before pan further along in the lot.

I've been using Architecture 2016 if it makes a difference.

Is there a setting that can be adjusted to keep this from happening?

It's just a nuisance!

Thanks for any help.

Delete what you can see before you move on is probably best practice anyway: the DEL key on your keyboard speeds the erase function immensely.

Well that is the process I've had to follow but it sure seems like this wasn't a problem with older versions of the program.
