Workspace Functionality
I’m trying to establish a workspace in Autocad 2016 with an array of tools on a second monitor so that I can maintain a workflow similar to one I have been using for many years.
In Autcad 2016, you can pull a panel off the ribbon tab and float it onto a second monitor. You can expand the panel horizontally or vertically (by clicking the arrow), but there is no “pin” to lock it expanded.
Alternately, can expand the panel on the ribbon and then lock it with the “pin.” But then you cannot pull the panel off the ribbon.
To work most effectively, I want to display the most commonly used tools on the right hand monitor, freeing up drawing space on the main monitor. Then I would save this “workspace” along with others depending on the task at hand.
How can I regain this functionality?
