I'm not quite sure what you are asking. The base point of a Block is not an object, so there is no such thing as deleting it. It is a location in relation to the drawn elements in the Block. You can change its location in relation to the drawn elements, if that's what you mean by "editing" it, in the Block editor. The wording "a base point that is created" is puzzling to me. You designate the base point when you create the Block, but that can be by accepting the default that it offers [0,0,0] if you don't specify something different, so in any case it will have a base point without your creating it. Is the implication that you think the Block doesn't have a base point until you create one, or that you can create additional base points? A Block cannot exist without one, and can have only one. But then, everything I've said is about what AutoCAD refers to as the Block's insertion base point. Are you talking about something else, and if so, can you describe it, and its function in the use of the Block, in different terms?
