QSELECT Command Feature Suggestion

The QSELECT command is extremely useful for selecting specific objects in large drawing files. QSELECT allows you to select objects by defining specific object properties.

Though very powerful, QSELECT could be made more useful by including and(&&)/or(||) operators. This would allow users to define multiple object properties in there selection.

For example, selecting polylines with properties Color: Red and(&&) Linetype: ByLayer selects objects that have both of those properties. The and(&&) operator allows for a more specific search. Selecting polylines with properties Color: Red or(||) Linetype: ByLayer selects objects that have either of those properties. The or(||) operator allows for a more broad search. (This can somewhat be done already by running QSELECT twice and appending the selections, but the operator would allow it to be done in one step.)

I'm sure a LISP exists for this purpose, but it feels valuable enough to bake into QSELECT itself.

@Chris_Emmett7QX9X If you only want to ask for new feature adds from Autodesk, that is done at a very different site where Autodesk looks for user feedback (never in these forums. Never).

Here is the link:

The FILTER command may do what you want.
