Dimension problem

camphoto_1804928587.jpeg

My problem is that when I draw something and then put dimensions to it it shows me reversed , for example if the actual dimension is 70 it shows me 07

Hi,

It sounds that you have a wrong orientation with viewcube. Type :

  • UCS command >> World.
  • Now type PLAN command >> double enter.

any changes now if you put dimensions.

I'm sorry but can you help me with pictures I didn't fully understand do you mean that I should write UCS and PLAN in the lower command bar in the drawing interface

Type in the command line :

Command: UCS

Current ucs name: *WORLD*
Specify origin of UCS or [Face/NAmed/OBject/Previous/View/World/X/Y/Z/ZAxis] <World>: w

Command: PLAN

Enter an option [Current ucs/Ucs/World] <Current>:

I think I did as you said but nothing happened to the dimensions or should I do something extra or redraw the drawing or should I re-dimension it?

Thank you, I tried it but it didn't work and this laptop is not mine. I might have a problem with my sister if I change the language forever :cara_sonriente_con_la_boca_abierta_y_sudor_frío:

So I think the problem is with the laptop itself, so when I send it to my professor it will be fine. Thank you :manos_unidas_para_la_oración: for responding and helping me

@451205861 ,

Must be a language issue, since opening in Autodesk Viewer seems good.

Does the laptop use any other language other than English? If so, it may be the issue.

After changing the language, close and restart AutoCAD.
