HELP! How do I change snap dimension show to actual dimension? Please refer to image provided.

Screenshot 2024-06-08 233353.png

How to correct what shows in snap shows 28.984 when the actual length is 0.9 m. I want that snap dimension shows 0.9 directly instead of 28.984

If you use the command Dist and select endpoint osnaps, is the result 0.9 or 28.984?

Could you share your dwg here?

Sounds like your drawing is not drawn to scale. Did you generate this drawing or did you get it from another?

Are all the objects in the entire drawing also measuring wrong?

Imported from pdf.

That is only the problem, doesn't align.

Repeat this solution and see if that corrects the problem

The original scaling of the original pdf is 1:150m so I used DIMLFLAC of 0.03 to match with the scaling of the original pdf. It is hard to use DIMFLAC of 1.0 because it's hard to identify where you will get the exact length when you will use DIMLFLAC from 1.0 to 0.03.

I would avoid playing with dimlfac. As I mentioned in my previous link as long as the pdf is not scaled/stretched differently in the x and y axis you should be able to scale everything up to match with a measurement that is accurate. So you’ll have to look for a familiar geometry along with a given dimension and scale reference the entire dwg to match. Usually I look for overall measurements. The larger the more accurate. If 0.9 is the largest then use that. But does that measurement represent meters or mm. You’ll have to decide what is the resulting units of measurement you want to end up working with. If you want mm then 0.9Meters will have to again be scaled up by 1000 to end up with 900mm
