Delete AutoCAD templates

Hey there everyone,

I am currently making a template (.dwt) for myself so that I have all my Layouts and styles whenever I create a new DWG. However, I am nearly done and have a few template versions now. If I want to create a new DWG I can select between all these Templates but I just want to have my final template shown and not all the unfinished ones as well. So I deleted the templates in the templates Ordner, but they are still shown. I have completely deleted them but they are still shown. Once I click on them obviously nothing happens because I deleted them. However like I said they are still shown in the list. So how do I get them out of my list?

I appreciate every help I can get!

Best regards
Nils

Hi,

it sounds you are talking about the START tab?

Pls share a screenshot where we can see the dialog with all the template-files

Exactly, yes I mean in the START tab.

I can't think you are talking about the list of templates.

Maybe you are talking about the last open files? If so, see Valentins post above.

Share a screenshot and mark all the files you are talking about.

Just go here and archive/ZIP/move what you don't want to show up if these are true 100% genuine DWT file extensions, not some random DWG files folder on your server that you might be using instead

OR... why not just use this instead of all than hunting/pecking lists
