A good article to sort all the extras.
Add-ins, Apps, Express tools, Plug-ins,
little pieces of lisp I made.
Is there a real difference between all these types?
Where do they hide themselves? ( Folder-wise )?

Autodesk App Store Add-ins are typically installed in one of the following locations:
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins
C:\Users\your-windows-login\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins
The Express Tools are installed within each AutoCAD program's folder ie:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20##\Express
My recommendation for your own custom lisp files should be saved in a separate folder so that when a new version of AutoCAD is installed and the old version removed, your files don't disappear. But you'll just have to include your folder under AutoCAD's Options > Files > Support File Search Path & Trusted Locations
