Thanks Paul,

Both Laptops are : i5 6th gen. (2.3 GHz.), 1TB Hard Disk - SATA, 2 GB dedicated Graphics Card (AMD)

My Budget is not that much to purchase SSD storage at the moment.

I am actually a fresher with AudoCAD. So I want to make sure that I can utilize my laptop with great extent for atleast atleast 2-3 years.

As per the Recommendations given here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System...

Display Resolution 1024x768 (1600x1050 or higher recommended) with True Color Memory For 32-bit AutoCAD 2016:

  • 2 GB (3 GB recommended)

For 64-bit AutoCAD 2016:

  • 4 GB (8 GB recommended)

Additional Requirements for Large Datasets, Point Clouds, and 3D Modeling

Memory 8 GB RAM or greater

Display Card 1600x1050 or greater True Color video display adapter; 128 MB VRAM or greater; Pixel Shader 3.0 or greater; Direct3D®-capable workstation class graphics card.

So with this recommendations, it says RAM greater than 8 GB and Resolution greater than 1600x1050.

So as per your experience , I should go with that laptop that can accomodate RAM greater than 8 GB but it would not meet with the requirements of resolution. Would that be okay ?

Again Thanks in advance.
