Hi All,
Although I can "fudge" my way through with this issue, I'd like to learn how to do it properly.
I have an existing dwg title block that is missing text fields for the section for reference documents, which I now want to add. I've created a block for the text, created tags, synchronised the block, but still no success. I see that when I click on existing text blocks in the title block, they open in the Enhanced Attribute Editor, but this doesn't happen when I click on the new block I've created. I suspect I've done something wrong when setting up the attributes. I've read through a lot of blogs/sites today to learn how to do this, but I suspect that it's something too basic for people to devote time to. Any help would be greatly appreciated please.
Thanks,
J

Sounds like you are doing everything correct; however, I get the impression you are trying to insert the Title Block already containing a block reference of an attribute definition - which will not work [like a block within a block].
Instead, create your Attribute Definition (ATTDEF Command) within the Title Block [NOT a block reference], then insert your Title Block.
Please select the "Accept as Solution" button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
