Hatch slowing down landscaping plan
Hi all. This is my first time making a full scale landscaping plan. The hatch seems to be slowing down this file to a crawl every time I use it. I can't figure out if it's all the arrays in this file or what. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

i don't see any problem with your file? either put all your hatching in the layer and freeze first before doing anything or change your ltscale value and see if helps.
Remember : without the difficult times in your LIFE, you wouldn't be who you are today. Be grateful for the good and the bad. ANGER doesn't solve anything. It builds nothing, but it can destroy everything...

Another way to check if it's the hatching that are slowing you down is to change:
FILLMODE to 0
or enter:
FILL then OFF
Then do a REGEN
Now see if your drawing still moves slowly.
Also check your GraphicsConfig just to make sure you have Hardware Acceleration set to On
BTW, what version of AutoCAD are you running?

@iglehart332 perhaps your missing-for-us JPG file is the reason you have slowness
No issues with your very small lightweight DWG file here for me either.
