Fatal Error when opening a AutoCAD that has a DGN attached.

I cannot open an AutoCAD drawing that has a DGN attached.  It is only happening to a particular drawing.  Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Thank you,

Hello,

I would like to refer you to an earlier Thread in the Community with the same issue

Unfortunately, there is not a way to repair a DGN file within AutoCAD. If the problem is indeed coming from the DGN,

it may be best to recreate that file. It is best to perform some cleanup on the file in Microstation first before trying to

bring it back into AutoCAD. With a clean DGN file, it should no longer crash AutoCAD.

Kind regards

I'm sorry, I did not respond to your previous inquiry.  Been busy at work.  I read that thread prior to posting.  I do not believe it is in the DGN files, because the DGN file will attach to other AutoCAD files.  I believe it is something in one of the AutoCAD reference files.  I just need to find the time to sit down and get to the bottom of the problem.  I just thought I would post here to see if anyone else is had this problem.  Thank you for your input.

RECOVER command to open and fix your file ought to do it: use RECOVERALL if you have DWG Xrefs attached to it or run RECOVER on each of the Xrefs first before the parent file.

Tried that already.
