INFORMATION SUBTRACT COMMAND

Hi,

Autocad automatically erases solids (of the second selection) when you use SUBTRACT command.

I just want to be sure that this command works only in this way.

Is not possible to retain solids (of the second selection) after using SUBTRACT command, do you confirm this?

Confirmed because that’s how the Subtract command works

@tecnico423NCJ ,

Knowing this, you should COPY the model or file before performing the command.

I agree with you that it's very inconvenient when you can't store the subtractable solid to subtract from other solids. I didn't find a ready solution. The DelObj system variable does not work with the subtract command. I had to solve this problem with plugins. In addition, I had to subtract with a gap. This is definitely not possible with regular means.
