Block Attributes conflict

I have received a structural file the column values shows correct but when i convert into block the Tag got changed bcoz they made Attributes. I have enclosed the screenshot and cad file also. Pls help me how to do it. what i want once convert into block, the tag name should not change

Send it back and wait for the fixed version.

The creator (if he created all inside this file) used Attributdefinitions instead of Text or MText.

A common mistake of beginners, specially if they found blocks and used explode,

because they don't know what they doing - or what thes sould have to do (refedit/bedit or in special situations burst).

After this step, they using the tag names of attribut definitions "accidentally"

@chakra48 That attribute has a default tag, and that is

you simply need to either change the default before you create the block or manually enter the TAG you desire after you create the block.

This sounds that you are the one who wrote "C1" "C2"...

Your structural CAD file was incorrectly done with ATTRIBUTE DEFINITIONS

They should have been TEXT objects.

I used this handy A2T.lsp to convert all of the ATTRIBUTE DEFINITIONS to TEXTS and that should solve your problem (see attached).
