Mtext with leader scale issues

Hi All,

I've been away from Autocad for about 6 years now (Revit) and I'm struggling to remember some basic commands.  Trying to place multiline text with a leader and I have 2 issues that I can't figure out how to resolve.

1. In an 1/8 scale drawing the default text height is 9", but when I try to use Qleader the text comes in at 6".  Is there a way to change the scale?

2.  I recall being able to drag text and the leader was attached... can't find that again for the life of me.  Is there still a way to do this?

Thanks for any hints or tips!

1) QLEADER is base on your DIMSTYLE settings for text size.
MLEADER is another option, standalone settings not tied to DIMSTYLE settings at all.

2) that would be MLEADER command.

That also works if you draw a Leader [regular LEADER command -- MLEADER is not necessary] and do the Mtext as part of that command.

Thanks for the comment!  What has me confused is the text height in DIMSCALE is set to 9", but QLEADER is still placing it at 6"?

I don't have access to your DWG file or settings, which only affects LEADER command and not QLEADER command according to HELP.

You are aware there are three, yes?
LEADER

QLEADER

MLEADER (which has MLEADERSCALE as an option too)

Yep.  Your original suggestion worked, for some reason I had to close out of the drawing and open it again to get the text to appear at the correct size.  Thanks again!
