autocad .dwg to .stp file convertion problems
Please I have been having problems with .stp file of my drawing. It shows something different from the .dwg file I created from Autocad 2014. So many things are missing, the materials I added are not showing and some geometry are distorted. Even when I share the dwg file it doesn't display what I have in my Autocad 2014. What is the cause of this and what can I do? If it's not too much to ask someone could help me fit a little part of the drawing before converting or after converting, whichever way does it best. The files are attached below.

Hi @Anonymous
I am unsure what you are trying to do. Are you creating it in AutoCAD 2014 and then exporting the file so it can be converted to STP or, are you going the other direction?
Anytime conversion occurs there is a possiblity of data not being handled properly. I see that you have attached files but I don't have the "converted" versions with which to compare them.
Perhaps you could try a Trial Download of Inventor or Fusion to see if they can handle the data in a better fashion.

Would you mind trying to convert my attached DWG part to STP? I would be very grateful; I only have AutoCAD 2009.

Hi,
Please don't crosspost (3 times yet), that does not help you (you had to upload it multiple times and now you have to watch multiple threads) and people who help may not see that your question is already answered in another thread (and so spending a lot of time without sense).
Let's continue >>>there<<<.
