Extension dimension Line extends beyond value after import.

Hi All,

I am experiencing an issue with the dimensions in which text and values don't fit within the extension lines.

I am exporting .DWG files out of a 3D Software called CREO Parametric. The drawing file being exported shows the dimension lines ending at the value (see attached "Example_From_CREO"). However, once the .dwg is opened in AutoCAD, these dimension lines extend beyond their values, almost like they have some sort of additional tail to them.

In one example, you can see the node positioned correctly, yet the line extends beyond it.

I am unsure if there is a parameter/option I am missing in AutoCAD that creates this affect.

This doesn't look great and any support in resolving this is greatly appreciated.

Exporting from CREO is where the problem was created: the destination software is only showing the results of the export.

Your terminology is a little confusing to follow, and your screenshots seem limited in view to understand the “whole picture”: by chance, can you share both CAD files here instead?
