Editing block color to 'by layer' but it doesnt change the color

I am trying to make this arrow block change color.  When I changed the multileader color, the arrow stays this green color.  I assume this is because of something to do with the block.  when I go to the block editor and try to set the arrow color to by layer (you can see the layer is red), the arrow refuses to change color.

What is the object color (and more importantly layer) defined for that INSIDE the block? BYBLOCK settings work better more often that not vs just "bylayer" in most circumstances.

Hello @jdborgeson

From the snapshot shared I could see that there is another block named "arrow" inside of block editor making it a nested block. Use the command "explode" to explode the block named "arrow" so that it takes the color which your are assigning. I hope that solves your problem :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:
