I have been using Civil 3D for years, but recently changed to regular AutoCAD 2022. I normally start out with drawings from other disciplines very often created in C3D, but the 2 programs seem to be compatible. However, I have been having issues with my drawings locking up in Autosave. After several exercises in C3D and trying to research this on the Forums, my theory is that this locking up is being caused by Vehicle Tracking. I have discovered that I cannot purge Vehicle Tracking in regular AutoCAD, and I am losing a lot of time.
It seems that PURGEVEHICLETRACKING is only available in C3D. Does this mean I will be forced to buy C3D again?
Thanks!

Install Vehicle Tracking for AutoCAD and perhaps the trouble gone, or use PURGEVEHICLETRACKING, it is available then (but I didn't test it)

Thanks Betreff. I think it's only available under the AEC Collection which I don't have.

My mistake, I have access to the collection and that's why I was able to download and install it.
SORRY
Do you have a (very small) sample file?

Thank you pendean. Ah. It looks as if I would have to ask the other disciplines to run AECTOACAD before sending their dwgs to us, which is not always likely to happen. I think you might have confirmed my suspicions that I need to pick C3D next time I renew my Contract. Thanks again.
